Urticaria

Urticaria refers to hives that don’t last very long (less than six weeks). Chronic urticaria refers to hives that happen at least twice a week for more than six weeks. Chronic, spontaneous urticaria is the name for chronic hives that don’t have an obvious cause. An older name for this condition is chronic idiopathic urticaria. There’s also a condition called physical urticaria, or inducible urticaria. These hives might pop up when you’re in the cold, heat or sun. Some people react to vibrations or pressure, exercising or sweating. Physical hives usually appear within an hour after exposure. This type of hives can also be chronic.

Fungal Infection

Anyone can get fungal infection. It’s most common in adolescents and young adult males, who tend to have oily skin where yeast thrive. The yeast also grows quickly on hot, damp or sweaty skin. The condition is also more likely to occur in people who: Live in a hot, humid climate. Have a weakened immune system. Have other fungal infections, such as seborrheic dermatitis or tinea versicolor. Sweat a lot (hyperhidrosis). Use a lot of oil-based moisturizers and sunscreens. Use antibiotics.

Acne is a common skin condition that happens when hair follicles under the skin become clogged. Sebum—oil that helps keep skin from drying out—and dead skin cells plug the pores, which leads to outbreaks of lesions, commonly called pimples or zits. Most often, the outbreaks occur on the face but can also appear on the back, chest, and shoulders. Acne is an inflammatory disorder of the skin, which has sebaceous (oil) glands that connects to the hair follicle, which contains a fine hair. In healthy skin, the sebaceous glands make sebum that empties onto the skin surface through the pore, which is an opening in the follicle. Keratinocytes, a type of skin cell, line the follicle. Normally as the body sheds skin cells, the keratinocytes rise to the surface of the skin. When someone has acne, the hair, sebum, and keratinocytes stick together inside the pore. The mixture of oil and cells allows bacteria that normally live on the skin to grow in the plugged follicles and cause inflammation—swelling, redness, heat, and pain.

For non ablative laser procedure, your face will be first cleaned properly and then a carbon-based peel will be applied to it. Then, an advanced Q-switched laser device will be used to rejuvenate your facial skin. After the treatment, a soothing and hydrating agent will be applied to your face for comfort. Additionally, a brightening mask may be applied to make your skin more radiant. For ablative laser procedure your face will be first cleaned properly. Numbing cream is applied. After removing the numbing cream the laser is passed on the full face. Slight erythema is observed. It’s not painful, only slight tingling will be experienced. Followed by instant ice application and then a repair mask is applied. A cold aloe vera jelly or a repair cream is generously applied on skin followed by sunscreen. Sometimes if blisters develop; a mild corticosteroid cream is applied to avoid complications.
